Building upon the success of these unions we have now partnered with the Cinnamon network specifically to work on a new faith in the community audit initiative they have launched. The objective of the initiative is to compile together information from faith-based organisations across boroughs, towns and villages to identify the different projects each organisation facilitates that positively impacts the communities in which they operate. This information will be compiled by Cinnamon audit style into one document that can be presented at government levels to show on paper the immensely positive contributions we know our faith based organisations bring to society.
A project on this scale has never been done before but with your help and the support of the Cinnamon network there will now be a quantifying of all our faith based organisations community focused activities, and the combined positive impact faith groups have in local community’s which in our case is Lewisham Borough. Please support this initiative by simply completing the online survey. This is your opportunity to record the good work that you do for the benefit of your local community.
