Welcome - Lewisham Churches United (LCU) is an ecumenical expression of unity among Christian Churches who function and faithfully serve within the London Borough of Lewisham.

LCU began life as an idea for a prayer & praise event which was then shaped by several of the Lewisham Ecumenical Borough Deans and the 'Love Lewisham Leaders forum' (later renamed the 'Lewisham Churches United Leaders forum').
The LCU event remains the largest of its kind within Lewisham and is now beginning to advise other boroughs on how they can replicate this expression of Christian unity within their own respective boroughs.
LCU is aimed at seeing the Church in Lewisham not only worshipping together at the LCU event but also working together to be a practical blessing to the London borough of Lewisham, and through joining many of our resources to see the borough's entire community positively impacted.
